A stunning large pair of Grand Tour slate temple models with gilt bronze figures of Bacchus and Pan housed within, c.1880.
Each model boasts a domed top above six reeded pillars with gilt detailing above a stepped base. The small gilt bronze figures of Bacchus and Pan within each temple are very crisply cast and boast impressive detail.
There are some signs of wear commensurate with age, namely a few scuffs and chips to the extremities in areas but generally both temples remain in a very good attractive condition and display extremely well.
